I don't know how many of you are familiar with this company, and I myself had never heard of them until I received one of their catalogs( I live in a part of town that receives just about every catalog there is), so I thought I'd pass this on to everyone. Some of their stuff is made in China and is "ok", but not great. Some of it is quite well made. www.micromark.com I hope you get some use out of it, I like to look at some of their miniature tools.

I've bought a fair amount of stuff from them over the years. A lot of the tools are Chinese but they do seem to vet the items they sell, so not the bottom of the barrel, although there is some pretty low end stuff mixed in so worth looking at pictures and descriptions.

They are also a Sherline and Proxxon dealer, so it isn't all Chinese. Lots of unusual small tools and craft items that are hard to find elsewhere.

I can't say what their customer service is like as I've never had an issue with anything I bought from them.

I found the coolant system to be neat.

I need to revisit their catalog now that I've added metal working to my hobby. As a radio control airplane builder, their small wood cutting equipment always intrigued me.

I forgot about their coolant system. It would be healthier by far than spray mist, just right for my little machine shop. Glad you guys use them.

Ive never used it before. I just saw it today. It seems intriguing and the price per refill isnt terrible. Still would be better off just squirting it on with an oil can though. You would have more control of the amount you waste

Proxxon is ok, I opted for the Brynes mini table saw and disk sander in that area.

Like I said before, it's probably healthier than a mister system, but the fact is just squirting some on with an oil can works to be even more responsible environmentally. I myself go with whatever kind of job I'm doing. I had a piece of solid 304 that i had to cut down from 5" to 1 3/4" on the journal and I wish I'd had it then because of the heat removal possibilities. Micro Mark is pretty handy with some of it's smaller tool choices than most catalogs I've seen.

I am saving it for later dont get me wrong. I wonder if you could use other coolants with it. Have you used it or know anyone who has?

Brynes mini table saw
I have seriously been looking for a small tablesaw. My 10" Jet cabinet saw is just a "wee" bit too big for cutting my balsa. I was thinking about making my own tablesaw but the Byrnes might be the ticket. Is the table top aluminum or steel?
