Selling stuff, safely

I once sold a 55" TV. I met the seller at the police station and using my 2000W inverter powered up the TV and then sent some movie footage from my phone all so he could see it work. I also would not hesitate to bring the big generator to power something up, whether I am buying or selling.

Back to back 30+ inch storms in 2013 , 62 inches total . Vehicles in the driveway were invisable . The road in front of the house was 13 feet deep .

Continuing OT:

I think we lucked out on that pair up here. The most I can remember from a single storm id 3+ feet about 20 years ago. The worst Winter I recall was in the early/mid- 90’s when we had a total of over 7 feet, was cold and snowed every few days. I had a guy digging out the driveway with his skip loader and there were 5’ high walls of snow on each side when it finally stopped and warmed up a little: he said if it had snowed again he’d have to bring his backhoe.

They cleared the road with an articulated earth mover . My Suburban was stuck in the middle of the major intersection and was pushed into the deli parking lot . All businesses were closed for 3 days because the roofs were not rated for that much snow . I have pics of my driveway and street from those 2 storms . Before and after .

I thought that was a lot of snow ...................until I went up to camp one winter . The snow was over 12 ft . Lost my trailer that year to callapsing .

Waukesha in January: 20’ piles along the highway, 6” hard-packed snow on the city streets and you could only see the tippy-top of the park benches.

Snow, no, thread drift !!! Guys, take the snow storm war stories another place. (And let me know where that thread is...) I'd like to keep this one more on topic. Thanks.

What do you say, Dave? “Natural Disasters WeHave Lived Through?” We could talk about the Great Flood of 2011 (TS Lee)!
