Learning about Bridgeports

Looks great . Give me a shout when you tool it up . :encourage:

I took the plunge yesterday.
Not the one above but an older one.
I go pick it up tomorrow.
We'll see...
Hopefully get any kinks worked out of it and then sell my vintage Millmaster to offset some of the cost of the upgrade.
What do you guys think of this plan?
Sell my old mill as a package with a rough but useable 6" Kurt vise, all my Brown&Sharp 9 collets, Criterion boring head, drill chuck and a set of 3/8" hold down clamps. One stop shopping for someone that wants a mill.
Make sure the power feed limit switch is adjusted properly!

Where's the fun in that? Take em off, live life on the dangerous side!!

sniff... fine, reminds me I should set mine up...

I was on a job a few months back that had a Webb 3VK in the shop. I noticed the table wasn’t getting any oil and saw white lithium had been used at some point in time. I tore it down for the guy and found all of the aluminum lube lines smashed flat and the X axis line was severed!

His guys that installed the power feed didn’t set the stops, smashed the lines and left it like that 3 years earlier.
