I'm trying a different tactic. I don't really need to maintain a specific temperature when I'm not in the shop, so instead of asking the heater to struggle to maintain a specific lower temperature, I'm setting it on 1 and just letting it add a consistent amount of heat while I'm gone.
The temperature was 52⁰ this morning. I'm looking forward to seeing what the temperature is when I go out tomorrow morning.
I'll have a better handle on how much fuel I'll consume.
Once I go out to the shop I'll put it in shop mode and fire up the radiant heaters for an hour or so. The shop will be pretty comfortable in a half hour and really cozy in an hour or so.
