Strawberries and chocolate yeah, strawberries and balsamic vinegar with black pepper, yummmmm.
Strawberries bacon and chocolate? not too sure, I will give them a try. Maybe maple syrup coated fried bacon with the strawberries and chocolate would be the way to go.

Thanks to everyone for their positive comments. I'll take a picture of the holder and indicator setup in the mill tomorrow and post it. Here is the link to the website with drawings and an explanation on machining of each part. There's also a BOM for reference.

I also want to give recognition to George Carlson for his work in preparing the drawings and associated text documents. I don't know George but his "Zero-It" dial indicator holder drawings made it an enjoyable project.

trying to make the lathe useful to the wife, I made a brass button to fix her purse strap that had broke. The radius was hand filed on the lathe and then polished. The tapered end was pushed through a hole in the purse strap, then cut off and filed flat and smooth. She loved it!

It's a pleasure to see some "alternative" usage for a lathe!
I guess the cost of an original spare part for a purse will be a good % of the price of a lathe
