What Did You Buy Today?

This is a Miller MRV2 6 axis welding arm, and i'm having a heck of a time finding any sort of documentation or manuals to start figuring out how to get it working again.
That's an ambitious project! I hope you post your progress... As far as documentation goes, you need to contact Miller. They will literally hand the book over to you. They're awesome for stuff like that. Skip the google searching, go right to the source and ask the horse.

Awesome, thanks for that info. I'm definitely going to give them a call and see what i can get. I'm much more experienced with chinese DC steppers, so these AC servos are a bit new to me. Absolutely worst case, I'll strip all the AC out of it and replace with DC motors. I want to get as much info as i can before i start making changes though.

Check @macardoso he’s got an extensive thread on here about his robot arm.

As well as the purpose of the arm, I'm curious as all get out what it's lifting capability is. Manual use with joy stick :)

Well I bought what I through was an er32 collet set for my mill. WTF is OZ25?
To top off my pain and suffering on this, the draw bar threads are incorrect. NMTB30 is 1/2"-13 but this stupid set is M12*1.75

I'm going back to the seller, they did clearly mark it as NMTB30, so this one isn't my mistake. Maybe I can get somewhere with eBay...
