Rescuing an abandoned Diesel 12 valve in Europe

Today on my way back from work i bought fiberglass body filler Body F250, and apply it on the weld seam on the rocker panel. Then i apply protective paint on the front part under the front fender. I installed the passenger side fender and mounded the bumper support and front bumper. I had to adjust the fenders to get the bumper to fit good. With that done i removed the bumper and started apply the same bodyfiber on the fender to fix the big dent that i hammer out.

Today i had lots of spare time so i spent it sanding till my hands went numb, then i sanded some more. Managed to paint prep the roof, hood, trunk and front fenders, the passenger one needs more work but i primed it as well. All top suficess got high build primer manly because i wanted more material to send back to get them smooth as glass, i was close to getting the doors to the same stage but the paint fumes wore too much, this 2K staff is very toxic. The passenger fender will take a lot more work, looks bad thru the primer.

Today i continue With the body work on this car. I managed to get the door and rear quarters prepared and primed with high build primer. And some of the small parts. Now i'll leave it in sun to bake for a week so the solvents can escape and the primer and body filler can shrink down.

Today was a very long hard and dirty day of work. After finishing my second job i wanted to get one of the dirtier jobs done. That is preparing and protecting the rocker panels and floor pan, the passenger side new rocker panel did not need much prep but the drivers side had 3 long dents. I wasn't going to try pulling the dents, so i graded them to clean metal and used some of that fiberglass reinforced body filler to get make them smooth they aren't perfect but with the rough finish from the stone chip that is also factory finish they are not visible. Masking a straight line was a bit difficult but i managed and apply the stone chip as even as i could, the product i used this time is very different is almost transparent with a bit of white tint. Then i unmask it and move it over the inspection pit where i used the rest of that can to protect all the joins and under body. The inspection pit made this job much easier than working on my back. My glove ripped and i managed to get some of the stone chip on my fingers and i can't get it off i even try paint thinner. Tomorrow i'll have two fingers white, i hope it no one notice.

Today i got the 406 out in the sun to bake. That will allow the primer to shrink in all the scratches and stay looking good for longer. After few hours i did also paint line on it with some mat black spray paint as a guide coat for sanding, now look like a zebra. I did found couple more bad spots that need body work and i started on them, i fixed couple of door dings on the drivers side and prime them with some spray paint primer wich it lighter gray then the 2k staff i was using.

Today i spent the entire evening working on the back bumper. I also fit the front bumper and bolted it to take its shape. The rear bumper had lots of bad bodywork, deep scratches and cracked paint. Spot by spot on the bumper got fixed and i apply primer, it also it's been baking in the sun every day, few more days i'll start to sand it smooth.

Today i started with sanding back the primer. I used P400 sandpaper, with water, wet sanding. It's going very slowly, the primer is very hard and eats tru my sandpaper. The trunk door took me close to 2 hours to sand it.
