Rescuing an abandoned Diesel 12 valve in Europe

The odometer come to round number, i decided to take a picture, and as high of a number that it is, this is the lowest mileage car i own. I'm used to seeing 5-600 000 km or higher and i've seen few odometers roll over.

You are right, gooogl is a round number, but how many parts wore out getting there?

Today on my day from work i hear the front brakes, rusty chunks scratching. The front discs are very very worn out they have 1/4" lip on the inside and out, there is plenty of brake pads but that lip is scraping. Got it in the big garage and decided to change it to winter wheels at the same time. Started with the rears check the bushings, all good so i only changed the tires, install the wheel covers and tie it with zip ties. Then i lift the front changed the brake rotors, pads i also painted the brake calipers and centres on the discs, also checked the bushings and joints. Install winter tires all new wheel bolts. It doesn't look too horrible i hope it handles the twistes good.

With the rainy season also here come the bad driving. Many people don't see well, other don't have working wipers and defrosters so driving now is like russian roulette. I do keep it on the road but two days in a roll i have a big log truck push me off the road, he is driving in the middle and won't keep to his lane. Those off road excursions broke a hanger of the rear silencer. Today i actually seen a police patrol and stopped and talk to them about that truck so they decided to follow me. And like clock work that same truck did the same but the police car did not moved and the truck crashed the entire side of the police car. I stopped and got to see them turn around and chase him down, the truck stopped after 2 warning shots. I continued my drive to work when i got there i notice the exhaust is crooked. Finished my work and on the drive back a dump truck going the other direction dumped half his load in front of me he had road base, that is big rocks and one a big one smashed in my windscreen it did not broke it but left deep marks, which i clean off and did a repair with resin. But i barely managed to keep it on the road, those big rocks on asvalth is like marbles thankfully i wasn't going too fast because of the rain. back home took off the muffler welded it, added pieces of sheet metal and a ring around it to reinforce it, then i apply exhaust paste and some paint, reassembled it and is ready to be driven tomorrow.

Good grief, You've either got some bad luck or some seriously bad driving there.

After a few hard week of driving everyday 4-500 km helping a friend to move back to our home city the wagon got a proper wash. Suprasing enough, with the rear seats folded down it fits an entire couch. The mechanical, electrical, paint job is all holding up well considering its been off the road for 14 years. The weather has been crazy, -7 in the morning, by 12 o'clock it's +12 celsius. I also come across a modern chevy impala on macedonian plates, no idea how they imported it.
