What Did You Buy Today?

They do not take much space... I am going to place it next to the... oh wait... oh carp... where the heck am I going to put it!!?? I got no space either...
So having had a Beaumont KMG for close to about 2 decades...Here are some of my very favorite attachments. Some of the newer attachments I haven't used yet, so have no recommendation. Although the Ed Caffrey platen looks very interesting.

Edit: These are in order of importance, IMO...

They recently installed 4 of these things in at work . I'm in one night and all the fire alarms went off and water was pouring down from the ceiling . A box must have jumped up out of the track and broke the fire pipe off . Took the fire dept 30 minutes to get there and then another 1-1 1/2 hours to investigate . Meanwhile the water continued to pour as we as employees cannot turn the main off . Flooded the entire side of the plant . Just another night .
you certainly had a lot of dumb unlucky happen there.

You have one of those??? Wow.

But now everyone on here will want one... Seems like we'll have to give up an arm and a leg to own PART of the accessories. Pretty cool stuff though. Most of us can only salivate...

Like I said in another thread, probably the most used tool in my shop has been my small 1x40 belt sander/grinder. Would like to upgrade, but mine does most of what I need, maybe a little slower, but still pretty good.

20 years ago it was slightly less expensive, but still pretty expensive. If you buy a machine add an accessory or two every year, it's less painful. You might even be able to sneak it by the spouse... ;) This is how my collection came together.

This is the most used tool in my shop. The whole machine is just so versatile, it's hard to imagine a shop without it. I want a second one for the other shop. I might clone the frame, but will buy KMG accessories if I need duplicates. (Some things could easily be moved back and forth if needed).

That SGA-1 attachment is something I LOVE for knife making. Modified it to have a second sine bar, so you can taper grind in two directions at once. It's something that maybe many of you won't need, tho.

I didn't see a video on their site for the SGA.. I would love to see it in use. Do you know of a video, or can you make a short one showing it in use.
Having a problem picturing it in my head.

Thanks.

Yikes, That's horribly slow!
We've had sprinkler heads knocked sideways, by the forklift, but not broken. 18' high sidewalls, but there are a few places where the heads have to be lower. The main valves are chained shut (meets the rules!), but the key is in a box right next to the valves. All employees know how to shut it down.

Try skip to about 5 minutes in.

He makes a nice grinder. Similar in quality to the KMG, but years after I had the KMG. I still think I'd buy the KMG, tho.

Wow...nice! But completely outside of my Hobbyist budget...
