What Did You Buy Today?

They have been on Christmas break, so no one is answering emails till Monday. I only discovered the sale a few days ago, but still wanted to take advantage.

Well, I didn't buy it/them. I helped a neighbor out & she wanted to pay me, I told her don't worry about it (that's just how I roll). She insisted more than once so I sent her a link to a set of long center drills. That was last week & I actually forgot about it until she showed up with my new set of long center drills today. Score!

Not a tool, but a piece of Dixie cycling heritage

It’s an old Coker Wheelman, a 26” penny-farthing made by Coker Tire Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The bike needs some love, as it has spent the last couple of decades sitting in a barn somewhere in the outskirts of Espoo. I’ll keep you updated in the POTD thread as I make progress :encourage:

Dear god alive! Just looking at that terrifies me!

This found its way into my garage a few weeks ago: an Enco (Golden Bridge) 1760. I swear I wasn't looking for it and don't need anything quite this big...but here we are.

I'll be making a dedicated post because it was an interesting story and the lathe itself is quite an odd duck. Until that post: enjoy the teaser.
