TBF, I grew up with Cattywampus as "its a bit catty", which also has a different meaning (regionally speaking) which is "bit-chee". The saying is/was she is/She's a "catty female dog" Id-Est, a real-female dog. In other words, worse than a normal one.

Hey, I’m 52 and grew up from ‘80-2000 there was no power, except generator and battery power system my dad built, no telephone, only had running water from a 100 gallon storage tank that got filled with a generator once a week at my dads house. About 1991 I managed to get a cell phone.

Mine was early 70’s - early 80’s. We had no power period.
