I had an aunt like that. Man, she could and did cook! I used to make excuses to go into town mid-day so I wouldn't have to have lunch after eating a breakfast with enough calories to last me a week...

Well... actually, being from the south, I prefer country ham with red-eye gravy... but bacon is a close second, and I haven't seen many country ham memes...
One of these days I'm going to try making red-eye gravy from bacon drippings and see how it turns out...

Friend brings a bag every time she visits her family… and popcorn from Rural Route 1…Growing up in Wisconsin I didn't encounter grits until I was in the Navy in A schools in Millington TN. I initially thought they were some sort of small furry animal. Then again I don't imagine the folks down south know much about cheese curds either. Mike
