Newbie with a SB9! need motor/countershaft help

On my 10K the spindle was slinging oil onto the motor. I had an old scratched up face shield that fit as a motor cover by drilling a couple of holes to align with the electrical box screws.
It does a good job of keeping the motor clean.
The only issue I have with this motor setup is the fan was pulling in smoke and perhaps small chips. I made a small filter for it and held that in place with the grill from an old computer fan. I don't have any pictures of the filter setup.
