I have a file card hanging up with my bike tools. The files that I have are very cheap, pretty old and have been terribly abused.

I have used them on steel, then bronze, then steel, etc. They are very tired files.

No, I don’t work with wood. This is an econo chest from Kotula’s. Very cheaply made & flimsy. It looks great in the photos, but when it comes you’re thinking “Man, could they have made this any more poorly?”.
