Right. It has arrived!
It took me a looooooong time to get it in place. It had to go down a thin alleyway down the side of my house and through an awkward single door, but it’s in:

To say I’m excited is an understatement.
I know it’s still a small mill compared to a lot on here, but I genuinely didn’t think I’d be be able to get something this size and weight through the size restricter (and therefore moving equipment size limited) space I have.
All I’ve done is bolt the mill to the stand and that’s it.
I need to clean all the grease off, cut the rubber mat oht from under it and get some levelling feet on the concrete, attach the hand wheels, power feed and then do the run in prodecure.
Then tramming etc.
The main thing is that it’s here and in my workshop!
Thanks for everyone’s help on this thread. I know I chucked a curve ball when I ordered a mill that wasn’t one of the two I originally posted on here, but the points you all made lead me to spending a bit more to reduce the limiting factors that the other two mills have.
I’ll continue posting about the set up etc in my general purpose thread:
Hi All,
I've decided to start a thread to show the projects I'm going to be working on whilst learning.
For a bit of background, I've had a couple of lathes and a couple of mills in the past but never really did much with them, but did do enough to know I enjoy the hobby and I wanted to get more in to it.
I've finally got to the point that I have my home hobby workshop set up to the point that I can start doing some projects with the machines I have, so I wanted to document what I'm doing.
My set up:
I've a ToolCo VM32 Milling Machine and a Warco GH600...
