Guys, double check me here before I drive the mods nuts for no reason, Can you edit your posts?

@woodchucker I could not edit either, but I was using Firefoix 102.06. Testing with Firefox 130 and no add-ins allows full editing. I'll check my versions of Brave next.

I am able to edit with Brave 118.17.118

@woodchucker which version of Brave are you using? I can then nail down your problem. :encourage:
I am not using brave. I am using ff, and once I stopped ublock origin on hm I am fine. I switched from chrome last week because of all the YouTube issues, and major crashes.

I am using Firefox 130, using ublock origin, and I am fine here. What version of Firefox are you using?

@RaisedByWolves What version of Brave are you using? Sorry, @woodchucker for my confusion about who was who.
How do I find that information?

This is a new install on a new computer, probably two months old.

ETA: Interesting development, I now have a variety of smiles to choose from when hitting the like button.

1) click the 3 line box in the upper right hand corner.
2) Then click the "About Brave" option. A screen will come up with the version number.

I started with win 95 and got my first home computer in 2001, so I used to hate them a whole lot more than I do now.

Following sketchy instructions from someone about changing Reg Edit stuff was always interesting.

Take a chance on crashing my whole system or get my game to run?

RegEdit as a tool is extremely useful..... IF you know how, where, when and what to edit.

I have used RegEdit (as well as powershell and command line) since as far back as I can remember to tweak my systems but ONLY after backing up the system "just in case", though I have never needed the backup.

Only ever needed backups when "windows update" borked a system. That is more of a pain and more common than most people think it is.

I well remember an update that caused issues that had an update to fix the issue that caused another issue that required another update and so it went on. It was/is/remains well known to a friend who is a PC Tech who was asking the question "why not just sandbox updates before rolling them out live?". Simple answer? every system is different, will behave differently and can not, in all reality, be accounted for.

No problems editing posts however everytime i send a PM in the conversations feature it says an error occurred and works anyhow! No ad blockers as i'm a paid member, cleared cookies to no avail. Not a big deal but slightly annoying.
