Blue Lagoon. Geothermal pool with blue colored water. Nearby is a geothermal power station, could hear the steam being released. Water is 38C, wonderfully warm. Outdoor air temperature was 57F.

Oh yes, but didn't bring a camera or phone. Water was nice and warm and full of minerals. So many minerals that visibility of the water was only about two inches at best. The water is pretty dense and very buoyant. Reminded me of the Dead Sea.
Went to a cheap fish restaurant and saw this inside.
That's a fish skin with a lamp inside it. Thought that was a bit unusual. Looking out the window the sun was shining on a red building next door, thought I'd grab a picture while it lasted.
Iceland apparently has a tolerant attitude about LGBT folks. There's a street called Rainbow Street.
At the top of the hill is a large cathedral, whose name escapes me at the moment. I will have to look it up.
In front of the church is a statue of Lief Erickson. Lief is holding an axe.
Across the street is a hotel named after him.
Interesting shops, but nothing my wife and I are interested in. My wife knits, and has made me several Icelandic wool sweaters, so she looks and thinks to herself that she can make one. I probably have at least 6 nice (really nice) sweaters of various styles that she knit me.
