Tried both rebuilt batteries today. The one built 100% with old cells was pretty weak - it was fine on light cutting but anything thick pulled the pack voltage down too far. They're 10A cells vs. the 20A cells on the original pack and they carried me abotu 18,000 miles on my electric bike, so not unexpected. The fixed one worked much better, occasionally bogged a bit but worked fine overall.

Last few weeks have been incredibly busy for me at work. I've been using what spare time i have left to do some cleaning in the big garage. I've also done some working on the air compressor head i got some time back, i did wash it with with gasoline to get some of the dirt and grease of it. I used couple of hammers to straighten the belt pulley, i use new bolts and washers but the pully's outside part is still very bent up, i drain the oil and filled it with new oil. I have a lot of cleaning left in the garage, most of my hand tools are still on the ground.

Wow! That's very nice!

Not really built into the shop but more next to it. Neighbors are referring to it as The Great Wall of Vermont:

This is doing triple duty: 1/3 flower bed, 1/3 retaining wall and 1/3 extension for half basketball court off the back of the shop. Good project for my wife, 15 year old and me to spend A LOT of outdoor time together.

Backfill is coming this weekend.

made a couple more interior LED lights for my car - a passenger puddle light and foot well light. The foot well light will have an LED swap to a lower colour temp (currently 4000K) to match the rest, but it'll do for now. They'll come in handy now the nights are drawing in.

@devils4ever - That's some mighty clean looking engraving!

@vtcnc - NICE wall!

@mattthemuppet2 - LED retrofits are the cat's meow. Just wish there were a wider variety of lamps available. Seems like care makers go out of their way to "be unique," so it often takes some creative engineering.

thanks hman. you can buy some LED "bulbs" for mainstream fittings, but you don't have much control over colour temp and the like. Plus some of these fittings were for lights that are available on higher trim models, but not on mine. Nothing some aluminium, a dremel and LED parts can't fix :)
