You absolutely don't need a jig to do "80%" 1911 frames if you have a mill. I know someone makes the jigs, but can't recall who. Again, you don't need one.
10-8 make some armorer's blocks, a pair of them will hold a 1911 in a vise. EGW makes an aluminum fixture that will also hold a frame. With a block of aluminum though you're only a couple hours away from making your own.

Agreed. When WA announced the 80% ban, I had to quickly buy a bunch of serialized receivers... just in time, because then the AR ban hit. Two years later, and I'm less concerned about the inconvenience then I am with appearing thuggish for showing up with an 80%'er. Still do lots of gun work on the machines, just no more incompletes.
I'd suggest finding the best *quality* you can rather than the best deal. Not all frames are created equal. That said, my experience is too old to be of much use, but a couple of the frames I picked up required some machining that they shouldn't have required...
