though I'd add a drawing of the "Dave Fogg" designed pump from 1963,, my pump is more or less this type hidden in a Bailey navy pump body.. He went for simple, a few turned parts, bored standard sized pipe, soldering and pipe fittings.. the navy internals were a foundymans nightmare, complex forms and cores,

some more smaller turning, the disc for the valves are done, turned a blank for the piston it will get finished once the pump bore is finished after the body is soldered.. lots of little parts in a small space..

made a soldering attempt and the top section would not stay in position,, stopped the soldering and decided that locator pins could work,, drilled for the pins and also rolled the wire silver solder flat and thin,, will "sandwich" this between the parts in the next soldering attempt.. Temu'd some fine chain that looks like it will scale well, (near a lifetime supply)
