Slide the brake operating came over the end of the brake lever shaft.. then slide the brake lever shaft the rest of the way in place.

Lightly lube the brake lever shaft and install. Leave enough room to install the brake operating cam.

Press out the old bearing in the "bearing sliding housing". I used a large socket that fit just inside on this housing.
