Try this.
Get 3 each 2 X 4 X 8.
Measure the distance lengthwise for the mounting feet.
Now place 2 of the boards like a ladder and lift to have one on each side of you and measure inside dimension.
Cut third board into 4 chunks and build a carrier.
One chunk at each end and a pair in the middle spaced for lathe base.
You may need to pre drill then bolt lathe to boards then place frame over them.
Use lots of 3 inch drywall screws to make it solid.
Get some strong rope long enough to tie to one end of the carrier then go to something solid that can hold the weight and then to someone to hold rope.
One person at each end to carry maybe 3 with 2 at back end.
Rope tied to front end then out to support place and wrapped around it 2 times then another person maneuvering rope around and keeping slack at minimum.
Should be able to walk it up the stairs then if it gets heavy the rope keeps it from going back and it can be lowered to the floor.
It can be pulled with the rope or after rest continued.
