Why are there no knock-off lista/vidmars?

Boeing dumps dozens of Vidmars each week, year round. Ehli Auctions in Tacoma (cyberauctions.com) clears them by the truckload, in case anyone in the PNW is interested. Prices are $100-$400 for the most part, FOB Tacoma or Boeing Field.

well one just went for US $1,036.67
which is reasonable, but more than I want to pay. Then additional fees, and shipping.

Ooo-wee, the price is up this month. With Boeing, there's always more. Market gets flooded sometimes. There's a few closures coming.

I think that box was well worth what someone paid for it . Trouble is add fees , shipping , taxes etc and it'll end up close to $1500 . When you look at the price of larger Snap On boxes these Listas and Vidmars are cheap and built 5 times better .

yes but i can find a better place to spend $1k, i will not be buying Snap On boxes either. for me it is a hobby not a business.
