Today, and this is very exciting, I bought NOTHING! Could not think of a single thing I needed or even wanted. Maybe my shop is complete. I'll check back with you on this. Oh, well, on another front I did buy my first S&W AR15, I can pick it up Tuesday.

Ha ha...it's California compliant, and really the only "significant" restriction is the 10 round magazine. I'm not really a gun guy, but this seems like something worth having around. I hope not.
I use mine a bunch. There are things I go hand held for , and others where I am using my mic in the stand. If I am doing a bunch of parts, I use the stand. If the part is very small my big fingers make it difficult to handle, I use the stand.I have a similar one. I think I've used it once. It is actually the least used tool in the shop.
Be sure to keep track of how many times you use yours. Enquiring minds want to know!
Ah, so no evil muzzle device, and you can't hook your thumb around the grip, in other words. That sure beats the 10-round toploading "blind" mag that was an early workaround. At least you can still go to the range and enjoy yourself. Five dollar mags are a lot more fun to shoot than fifteen dollar mags. I haven't shot any of my ARs since I got out of the Army in '05, but I couldn't imagine not having one. People going out and doing stupid sheet like that guy did last night in Maine are driving nails in the coffin for such items (like Forrest said, that's all I got to say about that).

Arrived today:
On the left, AFA on Amazon (Approved For Automotive; small U.S. company, but Chinese Tools) Deburring Set: I didn't really need the blade holder (although it is nicely made), but the only way I could get the smaller (10mm) Chamfering Tool was to buy the set. Seem to be good quality, and come with a lifetime warranty (we'll see). The packaging for the spare blades is identical to Noga's, without the trademark.
On the right, SS Shim Washers (also from China, via eBay): 3mm ID — 20mm ID; 0.1MM, 0.2mm & 0.3mm thick. Needed 18mm & 20mm for two different projects (1/2T Arbor Press – decided to add a shim washers like I did on the 1T Press; Self-Centering Vise Cleaning & Tune-Up). Total for the three assortments was only twice the cost of one thickness of the two sizes I needed from McMaster (although would have bought the spring steel ones from them rather than SS).
The Amazon purchase did create a new problem for me: a little note on the listing said that I could save 3% if I purchased through Amazon Business (set up your free account now!). I'll scramble to save money to spend on more stuff anyway I can, so I now have personal & business Amazon accounts that are linked to the same credit card. While many items are the same price on both "sites," I have come across some 5% — 10% savings on Business, with the same cash back on my card and the same extra 1% if I select using my "Amazon Delivery Day." So what's the problem? Now I have to check test another source when making a purchase to make sure I get the lowest total cost!!

Today I got a Treston 290-3 small-parts storage cabinet.
It has 30 drawers that can each be divided into six smaller units. ETRA didn't have the dividers in stock so I put a backorder for 30 of them. Didn't go for the maximum possible of 150 straight away

Looking to buy the ones that the drawers are made from the more flexible plastic kind (less likely to shatter).
I would love a setup like what the local ACE Harware stores have... I believe those are Durham Cabinet Drawers... but those are quite expensive...
I was looking at the Akro-Mils... but unsure of how those hold up over time.
I have a military style rifle that has a top loading 8 round clip..... An enbloc clip to be precise and I love it....
