Metal is my mental staple food and I found a lot more metal in this thread than I expected, no machinist pun intended.


I went through a phase a couple of years ago where I listened to nothing but In This Moment for at least 2 months. The pipes on that woman are not stock human hardware.

Check this out. It isn't metal but it's as powerful as a song with no words can be IMO.

My latest musical interest is actually... not listening to music. Sometimes I just get all music'd-out. Lately it's audiobooks. Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert Heinlein, and the Wheel of Time series by Brandon Sanderson.

This has been one of my favorite videos for a long time... I avoided this thread because I felt like I'd be intruding with some (grossly) unwanted contributions. Then I see Front 242, Slayer, and Kent... Little did I know...
