The Philip Glass Ensemble was performing in Helsinki a few years ago, but I was really sick at the time and missed the concert :frown:
 
Not metal, but I still lived every single day of the '80s, so... Last night, I went to see the 1984 live show Stop Making Sense from the Talking Heads at the theater. It was a great show. I also was gobsmacked to learn that the Tom Tom Club is a Talking Heads side project. Never made that connection.

Another thing I did not know was that he wrote the score for Empire of the Sun. You know, the one with a 10 year old Christian Bale and John Malkovich. Haunting, beautiful soundtrack that always stood out to me. Byrne is a genius indeed.
