Once in a while I get a brain wave C-Bag, so I forward such terms telepathically. CA is still in range.I suffer from this all the time and this is why I pay to be a member here. 99.9% of the time I’m not the one who knows what it is so I’m getting the benefit of the huge experience base here. Without the name you could spend forever searching and might not ever bump into it. My two prismatic jaws I found in yard sales and unfortunately don’t fit any vise I have. I don’t even remember how I found out what they are called but miraculously remember what they are called.
There isn't any distinct proprietary claim I know on prismatic jaws. You could duplicate or originate any combination you like. I'd opt mild steel just above 1018 and caseharden if you have a surface grinder, any of the tool steels are satisfactory that will finish even better. W is economical and easy to process.
For almost all uses, a single jaw is best, especially if they attach to a vise.
