There is a film that came out about 20 years ago "Idiocracy" that's probably a pretty accurate depiction of the future.

Very sad indeed... Though I am curious to know the percentage of how many did know the correct answers...

Oh, I am sure there were people that knew the answers.
But those that don't know what a 1/4 of an hour is, or how many dimes in a dollar,
those are the ones that are in serious trouble. People should be able to multiply simple numbers, or add simple numbers.
9+9+9 is not equal to 9

Those that can't tell you the names of 3 other countries, sad. Those that don't know the difference between a continent and a country... sad.

I haven't seen idiocracy, nor many movies these days. I guess I'll have to look it up. We don't have any movie theaters near us. And we don't pay for premium cable, as we are already paying way too much, and I don't even watch TV.

The sad thing is these people are going to college, and they can't even work at a burger joint in my opinion. They can't work a register. They can't flip burgers. They may be able to mop the floor and clean the tables, but not for what they are going to want dollar wise.

But they will be able to tell you who did what movie, or who's hot on the charts.:(

And I didn't even go to (wash, rinse and repeat...brainwashing school) college.
Have thoughts I ain't even thunk yet.
