Ya know? For a toaster, £20 ain't bad, unless it is second-hand in which case, a tenner (£10) is about right for the 2 slot and £15 for the 4 slot.

Looks like it is more designed to be a stabiliser than anything else, though with so little tension on the "tracks" other than weight of the thing lus the rider, how effective would/could it actually be?

Looks like it is more designed to be a stabiliser than anything else,...

I get the feeling that the builder did not spend a lot of time on the design phase....

Once dirt and mud gets inside the tire, it will probably become slippery and he will either lose traction or it will slip off.
