Tidying up a REID 618-HR Surface Grinder

I JUST SAW>>>DID YOU TAKE IT OFF THE SKID??? It should be sitting on the floor or on steel blocks.
It's still on the skid. I bought it sight unseen; I had no idea if the thing would even turn on, if the spindle was shot, tables/ways destroyed, etc... So I wanted to get a quick assessment before investing more time into it which is why its still on the pallet.

So now the first order of business is to make a mobile stand. I realize that it needs to be on sturdy feet; there will be leveling feet on the stand...it won't sit on casters unless being moved.

Attached here is my leveling solution - 2” studs (I used to have generous access to discarded industrial bolting). The ability to easily move the grinder about is also important to me - by having it up on these levellers I can slip the pallet jack under, pick it up and move it (then relevel it with the jack/nuts).
