Last summer, I acquired one of these strange ~1935 700 series 15" floor model drill presses. It's in very good condition considering the age, I just cleaned up some surface rust and coated everything in Fluid Film. Everything looked original when I purchased it besides the belt and since then, I've replaced a couple screws and put on a new chuck (need to replace motor wire still). Let me know if anyone want specific pictures or info.
If anyone has info on where to get the top pulley bearing along with the middle bearing (threaded into the quill?), I would appreciate anything you know. I already found a bearing that will fit in the bottom of the quill closest to the chuck. It seems like there was so many variations that I might be able to mix and match some parts off other similar models? My fix for now was a new bottom bearing and I removed the top cap w/ oil port and put another bearing in its place (it's the same size as the standard bottom bearing).
For part #'s, there really isn't much of anything. In my tinkering, I have found only this:
-Pulley (top of spindle): DDP-6-AB
-Top bearing: SKF I-70299
-Middle bearing: *N/A (Didn't check)*
-Bottom bearing: SKF L-02-Z
The first picture is the original condition when I bought it.
