I was surprised how easy it was to cut my own gears.
It may be worth making something like this
I have used it many times since and the degree disk program is of excellent use.
That aluminium gear is still in use today.
Or, will a 127 tooth from say a 9x20 lathe fit with maybe a bushing?

Its been a long time since I got any shed time but managed a bit in the last week. Made the angle plate from 8mm plate and welded it together. Managed to control the welding distortion and kept it square. I was rather pleased with the 8x1mm thread, it came out pretty good, not perfect but...
