Powering a Gorton 9J mill (4 motors)

I bought a 5hp RPC from American Rotary for $600 to run my mill and drill press. I am going to get a 10hp from them as well for a grand to run a big lathe. I can clearly buy the components and assemble my own for half that, and American Rotary sells DIY kits for an appropriate price, but I just don't want to spend that much effort on powering the lathe. The turn-key products are real easy and a time saver, and for once in my life that appeals to me over the DIY route. I just want to get the equipment installed without making a six-month project out of it (I am NOT retired), so buying a unit appeals to me more (at this time, with this project...). I'd love to see some RPC plans/schematic/BOMs for DIYs, though...

Look for a used RPC on craigs list faceplant or through surplus. I got mine from facebook thru a friend who alerted me and made contact since I don't do fb. BTW I only paid $75

I run my 9J with a scrap yard 220v 3 phase motor set up with a capacitor connected with a momentary switch to spin it up.
The power switch is turned on with the momentary switch on. As soon as it spools up, I release the momentary switch and
it's ready for action. Not only is it simple, it's inexpensive. Give that some consideration.
