What size link belt are you using here?

I have 3/8" link belt on mine, but after using it some I'm finding that I'm joining the camp of stick to a V belt because the link belt rides very high in the pulley and initially rubbed in a few places. Even after making some adjustment it leaves very little clearance in a few spots.

I recently ordered a 3L210 and 3L350 which were the sizes of the old belts I replaced (the belts that came on it were very old, dry and cracked) and am in the process of putting them on in place of the link belts.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I used silicone tubing and it slipped a bit too much under load so I switched to screw connected adjustable v-belts and they have been working great so far.
