Mini Lathe Thread Tapping - Not Enough Torque

Tooling rack is 1.5" 80/20 aluminum with printed tool holders. It really has helped slow down the onset of total chaos in the shop. AXA size. If you want to print some I would share the stl files. There's the holders and some wedges which tilt the 8020 up by 5 or 10 degrees, so the tool holders don't slide off by accident or vibration.

Great idea! I have a Ultimaker 2+ printer and found a file on Thingiverse for my 0XA tools. I just love it when I can use one machine to support another machine.

I haveone of those, but for some reason I never thought of using it with a tap or die! I did make an improvement:


The bent flat bar handle sucked (Sorry Chris & Carl), so changed to a hand wheel.

I also made one with a hand wheel, it was an early lathe project.
