That's 4.4958mm or 4.50mm as they are usually referred to.
So, much to my chagrin, that's a dead end.
It still seems rather strange to me that Mauser would use a part with a strange specification for one of their most prominent/popular production items, millions were produced.
Maybe the original part is not a ball bearing?

Indeed they are ...... ball bearings in .177 size ...
