Looking for a good reliable Acme thread drill/tap chart

@ltlvt here is a picture of a spreadsheet I made for you, using the formulas.

This spreadsheet should work for all sizes. (Full disclosure, I only tested it on 5/8-8 and 5/8-10!) If you want a copy of the spreadsheet I can attach that. (I hope so!) This does not give tolerances, but that is what I have so far.
Thanks Whiskey I would love to have the spreadsheet.

I exported this to an old version of Excel, hope you can open it and use it.
Thanks Whiskey I can read it but have not tried putting in my own numbers. I am asuming the page is not write protected and i can just put my numbers into the appropriate cells. Is this correct?

That is WobblyHand setting up the spreed sheet based on the calculations from the book.

Nice job WobblyHand.

I just want to take a minute to thank all who have replied. I continue to love this forum for all of those great contributors. I ordered a 17/32's bit and will drill and tap the nut when the drill comes in. I had thought of drilling it .500 and then boring to .531 but just easier to drill the hole to size. Thanks again to everyone including administrators who make this such a great forum.

I'm not Whiskey, although I have been known to drink some whiskey.

Yes, you can enter in your own numbers. Nothing is write protected. I recommend you enter the diameter and the TPI only, otherwise you will overwrite the formulas. But in case you do, the formulas are on each row.

I will likely buy a copy of that, I haven't seen that one and I like books, the more information the better, thanks.

I just discovered yesterday that I can read the kindle books from my desktop PC or my Laptop out in the shop. It sure beats reading them from the Kindle Fire tablet. Having my laptop in my shop with Wi-Fi is terrific. Yesterday while I was working on my Clausing lathe project I just put the laptop on the top of the headstock and looked at the assembly drawings from a pdf file that is on Vintage Machinery.org. The internet is great minus all the crap that is on it.

I knew I had seen this chart before. I had posted it in pdf format on home hobby machinist and tools Facebook group. I took this screen shot so I can post this picture for those interested. I had not been on F/b for a couple of years and had forgotten about the group.
