This is based of the one made by Gavin over at The Ultimate Reloader on YouTube. Made from DOM tubing, purchased bolts, and aluminum stock. Quite a few processes here were done for the first time. Using a PM25 mill, and the 1440-2V lathe.

Turning the stock down to diameter. The only crucial dimension was the inner counter bore for mounting to the lathe spindle.

I had to grind a chamfer tool for the first time.

I forgot to take some pictures of the setup and milling of the flats and drilling of the holes. But here is the end product.

Tapping the holes, and the bolts installed. 3/8-24 threads. I did order shorter ones with brass tips from Grizzly to replace those.

The knurled knobs. Used a spare bolt as a mandrel to clean up the backsides of the knobs.

Cutting the initial slit.

And that's where it sits today. I had to order a 4" diameter blade because I couldn't get the slit far enough into the piece. The a 5/16" endmill to be able to start the clamping screw counterbore. It will be an 8-32 cap head screw. Thanks for checking this out.
