Ok folks i just cannot get the ansi and iso descriptions when it comes to inserts.

I'm looking for a insert along the lines of a TPGH215 but about .450 or a little less in length. Can anyone help, and just what is the length of the tpgh215?

I'm making a 60 degree v chamfer mill cutter.

No it's ~.433" long for a 215 that has .250" inscribed circle.

Okay, the size of a 215 insert is .250" inscribed circle. A triangle needs three sides being .433" long to contain a .25" circle.
Spilt in two so we have a hypotenuse of .433" and an opposite side of .2165". So that makes the adjacent side or the length of a 215 insert ~.375." long.
Somebody feel free to peer check me.
