I once had a package that went on a 2 week Hawaiian vacation without me, on its way from Chicago IL, to Milwaukee WI, about 90 miles as the crow flies.
Then at the same time I had a pacckage coming from Germany to MIlwaukee WI and it took less than 48 hours to get here. Customs was even thrown in there.

George Carlin once said I asked the lady at the Airline desk to send me to New York and my bags to Hawaii. She said "We can't do that" and I replied "WHY NOT YOU DID IT LAST MONTH"....
