I was working on understanding bend allowances and also how to draw a flat view of my 3D model to cut and bend from when (for other reasons) I switched CAD systems to Fusion 360. It was then that I learned that Fusion 360 has a Sheet metal section. It automatically took my 3d drawing and created a flat drawing with bend allowances calculated. I just printed it 1:1 and spray glued it to a flat piece of sheet metal then I could use the drawing to line up cuts and bends. Easy Peasy. I do think you might need a paid license for Fusion 360 to get the sheet metal functions.
