Well, here's a joke.. just think the jokes on me.
I was out shoveling came back in to see my wife vacuuming. She had the hose hooked around my laptop (fortunately closed but on) on the table next to my chair... Rather than free it up she tries to whip it, and sends it flying across the room tumbling. I scream out WTF... she jumps. Tells me that was my fault because I scared her... The jokes on me because she has never owned up to a mistake she has made. IDK.. why is it so impossible to say sorry?? The joke continues to be on me. :(

In Ohio they are making people get rid of their old license plates for new plates because the old ones are a safety hazzard......
You CAN'T make this **** up.
On Wisconsin, they don't issue new plates any more unless it's a new registration. My plates have been on two vehicles now over some fifteen years. Road salt and miscellaneous pollution have all but removed the paint on the rear plate making it virtually unreadable. A few years back I switched the front and rear plates so the rear plate was legible. Eventually, that will become illegible too, at which time I'll have to request new plates. Since I drive less than 6K miles a year now that I've retired, I am expecting to keep this vehicle for the rest of my life.

Back when registration was $13 a year, we got new plates every year. Now registration is $85 a year and we get a sticker.

Effective March 13 in Ontario, stickers are no longer required on plates. If any one has bought a sticker prior to March 13 they will be reimbursed.
We had 2 levels of sticker cost Southern Ontario paid $120 for 2 years, Northern Ontario $ 60.00 for 2 years.
Now everyone pays $0.
Oh and there just happens to be an election in June.

NY makes you buy new plates if your license plate paint is peeling. The sad thing is the plates are only two years old. I wouldn’t buy new plates bc i said NY just screws is over with taxes every year. We shouldn’t have to buy new plates bc the paint is peeling they should cover the cost.

Yeah, how? Is it because the Wright Brothers biplane is flying backwards?
That's not a joke - Ohio really screwed that up - released a license plate commemorating the Wright Brothers, but the plane was flying backwards.

I'm sure it has been noted that the airplane isn't backward, it's just someone commenting that doesn't know airplanes or history. Those that ignore history shall be cursed to relive it.

If it was me, I'd go to Wally World for a couple cans of spray paint. Trying to get them to use better paint would be a 'no go'.

.

Oh trust me i though of buying pain and painting my plates. Last year i bit the bullet and bought new ones when i got a new registration.
