When I first started teaching basic computing the first thing I did was to write in giant letters on the board
RTFS.
It took a while but eventually someone would ask what it meant.
Read the flipping screen

I always used "RTFM". Read The Friendly Manual.

If I had to repeat myself, it wasn't "Friendly" any more.
