Obviously a serious mishap, not funny.

What tickles me is imagining the first words from people arriving at the scene.

Something like this should do the job:


The company I worked for rented one of their 500-ton models a few times. The load it had to lift was only a little over 150 tons, but the smaller crane didn't have the reach to lift it 8 stories and move it in over 100 feet. It had to be assembled on the spot. It took 7 tractor trailers at least 2 loads each to bring the components together. Then it took 2 100-ton cranes to assemble it. The assembly and disassembly took longer than the job itself.
