Thanks for the complement, Frank. A 1950s Necchi, good machine. My wife, when she was a little girl, first learned to sew on a White treadle and then went to a 1950s Elna Supermatic. She now also has a Husquivara D1 and a Pfaff Sensation pro so she can do embroidery. Plus two sergers and other machines that I can't name. Heck, us machinists got nothing compared to what she's got for machinery. She even used to sell sewing machines. Right now, she's slowed down a little, mainly into alterations and she still makes her own clothes. Still, we don't have a living room. The largest room became the sewing room. That's okay, got my shop in the basement. Mark

After a few days away from this project today i managed to get some things done on it, i install the steering column, installed the switches clock spring, steering wheel, airbag and install the 2 remaining bolts on the subframe. With this done i loaded it with all the tools, like air compressor, mig welder, jack, jack stands, inner fenders and other tools that i'll need to do the job's over the inspection pit, next task was to drive it over a block from my big garage to the small with no exhaust, and this engine has especially raspy sound because of the increase compression, also no front end so i got some looks. Never the less i got it over the inspection pit during daylight. next few tasks will be hard and dirty but it despretly needs them.

I bet you were a sight to see (and hear)!

I bet you were a sight to see (and hear)!
Yeah, i live in the suburbs but it's very dentsply populated. The neighbors on both my streets know me and have seen me in almost anything with wheel, for them is a quick look yes it's Goce and they continue with their day. The other ones are the ones that stare at me, thankfully i'm past the point they don't call the cops on me any more. :encourage:

Nothing like keeping the neighbors on their toes. Getting ready to walk the 39 ton excavator down the road a ways in the next week or so to make my way to the other side of the creek. That should get the busybody next door something to ***** about. Cheers, Mike

finished up the latest batch of toolholders, I'm sure I'll be making more in the future though..

And I thought I went nuts making holders! Nicely done! Of course, I already want to make more, so you are on to something!

I need to make a bunch as well. I unfortunately dont have material to make them.

Wow 28 is that a record?
Maybe it should be.
I rekon I could find uses for 28 of them. Nice job! and congrats.
