What’s missing on this bp clone.

It reverses by either pushing in or pulling out . Not sure of the thread .

The diameter of the shaft . No big deal as it's easy to bore or sleave to fit . Just need a pin inserted at the correct position to fit your mill .
Shaft diameter is .995”
Shaft length is .855”
The spanner looking part that I’m guessing a pin goes in to is 1.770”

A few more whatzits. Hopefully you guys can shed some light. Its possible they don’t go to the mill and might go to a surface grinder or other mill.

I’m also missing this lever. Is this used to rotate the whole head assembly around?

That cranks the ram in and out after loosening the 2 bolts that point out. You just push the head to rotate after loosening the 4 bolts that point up.

The fourth photo is a table lock handle. The last photo is the oiler for the spindle bearings.

New questions. On this power feed, there’s a cut wire and missing piece. Did the cut wires go to the travel switches? Also what goes on the bottom. Also when I engage the feed I can still turn the table handle with the same feel and resistance. Is that how it’s supposed to be or is broken/out of adjustment?

So I did some investigating on the knee adjustment. The gears seem okay. My gear slides on a keyed shaft and has a set screw. It seems like the gear is just too far back. Is there a proper procedure for setting the mesh or do I just slide it forwards until it touches and and tighten it down? I am going to pull the table saddle and knee off when I have time to clean it properly. What lube goes on the bevel gears?tempImagek1OqrO.jpg

@mmcmdl did you happen to have a chance to see if you had a quill feed lever?

Ha ! I did see some yesterday out in the Vidmars . I'll find mine for the BP and see what else I have . Stay tuned . I found some other mill parts also that I can't identify which mills they came from . Gears and shafts etc . :dunno:Trying to clear out the Vidmars .
