Well, I was wrong about my next machine.

I rediscovered my love of power hacksaws recently and went looking for the small model I had 25 or so years ago. It was the Craftsman/Dunlop/Atlas etc model. I managed to track one down locally and for the princely sum of $40 I now own it.

Its not as pristine as the one I had years back, but I can rebuild and paint it up like new.

And it cuts just like it should.

I even had it sub in for its big brother as I couldn't power the DC motor off of two car batteries in a pinch like I thought I could.

Bought this one 15yrs ago from a scrap yard, think I paid $100 for it. It works great, bit it just wouldn't fit under the bench in my mini shop Im working on. Its been seeping in the Conex for the last 10yrs and only comes out when needed.
