Ok here are some pics of the parts.
The band ends.
This is the hub end.

This is the table end.

The drive hub. The steel bands are attached here and wind over the rounded edge.
Taken from the front of the machine.

Taken from the rear.

These are the clamps that secure the bands to the hub.

Is there any chance you could accomodate 0.015" thick strap? If so you are into standard banding sizes:

Possibly. I have no idea what effect that extra thickness might have.
