Installed a Lathe pad today

Good job!
Nothing risk , nothing gained
I think it will help, now you need one of those thick rubber mats.

Actually with the pad height of 1-1/2” give or take plus a bit of levelling the additional height may allow for a wooden duckboard slat in front. In the long run I always like standing on wood best even though they do make some decent rubber mats out there too.

Agree, wire/ rebar. Anchored to floor. And concrete bonding adhesive. Concrete vibrator will level it.
Uh.. Ummmmm….yeah. Ya’all act like I’m a concrete guy. I’m not.
If it doesn’t work, I will hire somebody to cut out some of the floor, and put in a pad like I said in my original post.

I'm probably behind on things.. But I'm interested in those slick looking carts/dollies you have at the ends of your machine. What are they?

Looks good! Do you feel this self leveled? I assume you mixed it to fluid?
Yes, I think it leveled it - it wasn't quite "fluid" more "Flowable" according to the instructions. I also mixed it a bit after I poured everything into the form. I'll verify with a 4' carpenters level this evening. If not, out it comes.
