What is an MS connector?
It was probably the most common military electrical/electronic connector family to come out of WW-II. It officially became known as MIL-C-5015, and was also made by Cannon, Bendix, Pyle National and maybe a couple of other companies. It was apparently started by American Phenolic Co. (known since right after the War through today as Amphenol) and known at first as the AN connector family. It and its nomenclature were revised and re-named in the late 1940's although two or three accessory items are still available under their original nomenclature.
